In one of the conversation I had with my mother last year, she maintained that crabs did not walk backwards as the Spaniard commonly says “Ir hacia atrás como los cangrejos” (To go backwards like the crabs), but sidewards, and that she could affirm such a thing against a generally accepted truth through the empirical observation of the crab’s behaviour. “Everything needs of empirical confirmation”, she said, “and once you have this, a general belief may not influence you anymore.” Of course I laughed.

An attentive observer may though quickly see that I’m walking backwards, whether like crabs or not, in any case very much as the Spanish proverb says. Why put the theory before the empirical proof and not get the empirical proof before deriving of it the theory? Probably because the theoretical frame you are moving in, does determine the way you look for proofs, and thus the results, and consequently it is of need to situate yourself somewhere first, before you go on looking for proofs.

On the other hand, the very field you are studying should determine the way you proceed in getting proofs. Aleatory movement is a movement that is not determined in categories or methods or systems, this is why it is aleatory, ‘moving through undetermined factors in a determinable logic’. Consequently, to move yourself aleatorily, which on the other hand could be said, through intuition or psychic impulse, does fit the field of research much more than to build up a rational procedure. But: intuition or psychic impulse is not necessarily aleatory, it may correspond to deepest logics and inner mechanisms that do seem to be aleatory if considered through outer parameters, but may be extremely determined in the depth.

Aleatory research if guided through an inner principle that has a powerful logic, may have thus extraordinary results. As you put yourself a subjective goal, your strength and force is concentrated in arriving to the achieval of the goal, and intuitively orders movements, reactions, tests towards the given goal. It is surprising that you may obtain such a result in little more than three weeks, and the stats are there, blind parameter of objective references we should never forget. Perhaps I have never been as happy in my life as by the appearance of a pingback, yesterday after having published ‘Congratulations, Sask’. She may not have slept very much that night, with about 10 hours times difference it should have been around 9 in the morning in Israel, but it gave the evidence of the fact, that the interaction was almost simultaneous. Proof that you may arrive through aleatory means very quickly to your goal, proof that the sun is even a better reference not to get lost than the map, proof that the adequation of the means to the purpose do allow to obtain what you are researching for much quicker.

Although these are general observations, the results obtained through the ordering through a powerful inner principle are not negligeable either. They affect many fields of human activity and may even influence economy and other very dry subjects of conversation. The why is left to the different perspectives.
